The Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) is a non-profit trade organization founded in 1908 to represent the interests of companies that manufacture products sold to the potable water and wastewater treatment industries. Its mission is to inform, educate and provide leadership on issues which affect the worldwide water and wastewater equipment industry.
WWEMA members supply the most sophisticated leading products and technology, offering solutions to every water-related environmental problem and need facing today's society.
Headquartered in the nation's capital, WWEMA resources are dedicated to accomplishing the following objectives:
- Provide programs and services that will increase business opportunities and enhance corporate effectiveness.
- Advance the lawful interests of the members on public policy issues that may affect their domestic and international business environment.
- Develop and strengthen working alliances with other organizations within the industry to further common objectives and protect the members' interests.
- Promote the image and capabilities of WWEMA and its manufacturers as a vital resource to the water and wastewater industry.
- Assure the financial integrity and viability of WWEMA.
