WWEMA’s ever popular Finance and Contracts Administration (F&CA) Council Meeting will be held July 25-26, 2019 in Indianapolis, IN. The meeting will be hosted by the Law Offices of Barnes and Thornburg LLP and hotel accommodations will be provided by the Hilton Garden Inn located nearby at 10 E Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. This year’s program provides highly interactive sessions on Find the Flaws, contract language for alternative procurement mechanisms, what you need to know about Contract Lifecycle Management systems, neutralizing contract “killer” clauses, negotiating successful change orders, tariffs and trade, and a special financial presentation. Additionally, WWEMA is working with the Construction Financial Management Association to potentially offer Continuing Professional Education hours for the event.
And it’s not all work…After a long day of learning how to successfully manage and negotiate contracts, attendees will head to a local “Escape Room” for an evening of fun followed by a catered dinner. The 1½ days of topnotch training, a networking lunch, refreshments, the Escape Room event, and dinner are included in the very affordable price of $395 for WWEMA members (the third member from the same company is further reduced to $295).
