This year WWEMA’s ever popular Finance and Contracts Administration (F&CA) Council Meeting is being held July 25-26, 2019 in Indianapolis, IN. The program has been recently updated to include a finance session presented by Nickie Redick of BKD CPAs & Advisors. The session, which is titled Is Your Accounting House in Order? Emerging Issues Update, will address the latest accounting and standards with updates on FASB, AICPA, Private Company Council and others that could impact your business. The session will also address future projects that FASB is considering so your company can plan ahead. WWEMA is working with BKD, the Construction and Financial Management Association (CFMA), and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to potentially offer 1.5 CPE credits for this session. All remaining sessions are also being considered for CPE credit, which would mean approximately 9 CPE credits would be available over the 1½ day session.
The meeting will be hosted by the Law Offices of Barnes and Thornburg LLP and hotel accommodations are provided by the Hilton Garden Inn located nearby at 10 E Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Although the sleeping room block officially closed on June 27, 2019, a few remaining rooms are being held for meeting attendees.
