WWEMA will continue to be represented on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC). The Committee’s purpose is to provide insight and advice regarding the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of environmental technologies, goods, services, and products. ETTAC members consist of experts drawn from academia, industry, federal laboratories, and relevant U.S. Government agencies who are engaged in developing and producing cutting-edge technology in key areas needed to maintain a strong U.S. presence in the world economy.
WWEMA will be the ‘voice of the water and wastewater technology provider’ representing this industry and provide input to support ETTAC in developing recommendations to enhance the export competitiveness of U.S. businesses. WWEMA Committee members include:

· Bill Decker, Vice-President and General Manager, Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc.
· Nick Peyton, Vice-President and General Manager, Mueller Company LLC
· George Vorsheim, Director of Marketing and Communications, Environment One Corp.
Each person listed above will be returning to the ETTAC Committee for a second consecutive two-year term. The re-appointments are effective immediately through August 15, 2020, when the Committee’s current charter expires.
