At WWEMA’s Washington Forum, Amy Kreps of the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA) announced that it is developing and will soon begin pilot testing an enhanced U.S. Environmental Solutions Toolkit. The Toolkit is a buyer’s resource guide that marries U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) expertise on solving environmental challenges with a catalog of U.S. providers of related technologies. It will be fully configurable for mobile devices, affording maximum usability anywhere in the world. It will also be available in seven languages and allow potential buyers in overseas markets to communicate directly with U.S. companies through ITA’s online platform. WWEMA will continue to monitor the status of the Toolkit development and report updates.
