WWEMA-member company Aqua-Aerobic Systems and METAWATER Co. Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan, on October 28 formally announced to their employees and shareholders a merger agreement. The merger will place Aqua-Aerobic, including its subsidiary, Mecana Umwelttechnik of Reichenburg, Switzerland, under METAWATER USA INC., the company’s U.S. subsidiary with current operations in Rutherford, New Jersey.
Through this merger, METAWATER USA will acquire additional Aqua-Aerobic Systems resources, including additional established relationships with sales agents, consulting firms, and contractors to support its growth strategy and strengthen its business through expansion into the United States and other markets. The collaboration provides Aqua-Aerobic with a larger platform to expand internationally and enables both entities to gain access to each company’s technologies, enhancing their respective product offering portfolios.
