Jay Conroy is the President and Owner of Hydro-Dyne Engineering, a manufacturer of custom-engineered screening, screening handling, and grit removal equipment. Jay founded Hydro-Dyne Engineering, shortly after graduating from the University of Florida with degrees in environmental engineering, business administration, and sales engineering. Under his leadership the company has patented and acquired equipment designs, several facility expansions, pulled all engineering and manufacturing in house, and has opened several international markets with more than 2,500 installations worldwide.

Jay is Vice-Chair of the WWEMA Executive Committee, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors, Marketing and Member Services Committee, and Legislative and Regulatory Committee. He was recognized for his contributions to the mission of the association and to the overall benefit of the water and wastewater industry receiving the James C. Morriss Member Achievement Award presented by WWEMA in 2022.

In his personal life, Jay is a new father who is passionate about his family, animals, the environment, health, and wellness.
