William Flores is Vice-President, Municipal Systems, Customer Service & Field Service. William has a Chemical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Business from Baker University. William has been in the water and wastewater business for 29 years and has valuable experience and a broad knowledge of all facets of our industry. William has worked with industry representative networks around the world and has extensive process, equipment, and marketing experience. He is involved with WEF, serving on the Workshop 102 Fundamentals of Grit Removal and Grit System Evaluation, member of the WEF Grit Task Force, and one of many industry professional co-authors of WEF’s publication titled Grit Sampling and Characterization.  In 2017, William was Chair of the sponsored O&M Committee Workshop titled W05 Grit Removal Systems: Do’s and Don’ts, Hands-On O&M. William is involved with design seminars across the U.S., and actively participates as a presenter during WEF’s Mobile Sessions. William has 29 years’ experience in the field of headworks and MBRs on over 2,500 built projects. William lives in Lawrence, KS. He has been married for 27 years to his high school sweetheart and has two children, a pre-dental college student and sophomore in college.
