The U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has released its 2026 Manufacturing Incentives Overview Report, a consolidated resource designed to help U.S. manufacturers identify federal and state programs that may support business investment, expansion, workforce development, technology adoption, and exports.
The report brings together information on grants, loans, tax incentives, technical assistance, export financing, and state incentive programs in one resource. While it is not an exhaustive list of available programs, it provides manufacturers with a useful starting point for identifying opportunities for which their companies may be eligible.
- WWEMA members may find the report particularly useful when evaluating:
- Manufacturing expansion and capital investment
- Equipment and technology upgrades
- Research, innovation, and advanced manufacturing
- Workforce development
- Export financing and international market development
- State-level business and manufacturing incentives
- Resources available to small and medium-sized manufacturers
