Robert Jeyaseelan, a proud naturalized American citizen, began working at 12 years old at a grocery store and at age 16 became the store manager. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 19 where he was a Nuclear Reactor Operator on a fast attack submarine.  He received a ROTC Scholarship to attend the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering.  He received a fellowship to attend Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and he earned an MBA from Mercer University.

In addition to his working at the grocery store and the U.S. Navy, he started a pizza shop while attending the University of Florida.  His professional career has included roles such as R&D Project Manager to develop fiber optic cables, Process Engineer for diaper manufacturing, and Quality Manager for manufacturing air-activated warmers.  In the wastewater field, he joined Parkson Corporation in 2008 as an Innovation & Technology leader and during his six-year tenure had numerous leadership roles ranging from engineering, commercialization, and sales.  He joined Vapex Environmental in 2014 as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing and in 2015 was promoted to be the President, a role that he currently holds.  He lives in Merritt Island, FL with his wife, Suma, and 15-year-old son, Robert.
