Evoqua Water Technologies on December 15 participated in a White House Roundtable on Water Innovation, which brought together leading minds in the world of water to discuss and challenge stakeholders on how to plan,efficiently use, and develop new supplies of clean water. Evoqua was invited to the event to discuss Nexed, a patented electrochemical desalination module technology that reduces energy costs by as much as 30 percent, and also can help lower costs and facility footprint.

Prior to the event, Evoqua announced that it will partner with the Public Utility Board of Singapore to use this technology to build a desalination plant in Tuas, Singapore, capable of producing 500,000 gallons of desalinated
seawater per day.
